A collared ferrule has a built-in lip that gives precise alignment on any shaft, and on graphite shafts adds a protective cushion between the shaft and the metal hosel. Look for “Collared” on each set below, or choose it when you design your own, in either tip size. Collared seats best in a countersunk hosel; if yours isn't, non-collared is there too.
